Took down the rest of the kitchen ceiling and the dining room ceiling drywall.
Which allowed me access to this completely adequate insulation job (that's sarcasm if you can't tell).

Well, plan your renovation around the day they call Spring Cleanup. They will take any bulky items you care to leave out (except electronics and refrigerant utilizing devices).
Yes, everything is out there, including the kitchen sink. Oh, and they didn't really like the insulation. Turns out that's not really "bulky" enough for the pickup. But they took it anyway. It seems they also gave our contractor the stink eye because they thought he left it out. Oh well.
So, later that day, the attention turns upstairs. You won't believe this, but Heather actually did all that.
I did some too. With the sawzall. Yes, I can call it that because I have the Milwaukee one, so there.
That was the end of the day. We were running out of daylight and it was time for dinner.
